This is a new muskie bait that has recently appeared on the fishing scene. It was developed and is handmade by Tim Sharpe and Sam Conigliaro of St Clair, Michigan, and has been causing a stir among muskie fishermen on Lake St Clair.

In one evenings outing, in September, 2004, Tim boated six muskies between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and midnight with four of those six being caught on Badd-Azz Baits. The fish ranged in length from 37" to 51 1/2".

On opening day of the 2005 fishing season on Lake St. Clair, these lures landed the Grand Slam of fishinga 5-pound smallmouth bass, a 36" pike, a 29" walleye, and a 50 " muskie. That day, 11 muskies were brought to the boat, with four of them being caught on Badd-Azz Baits.

These are exceptionally well-made baits. Each lure goes through 35 separate hand or machine operations before being completed. Here are some of their features:

  • Shaped from hard wood

  • Stainless steel hardware used throughout

  • Fitted with Eagle Claw Laser Sharp treble hooks 3/0 2X on the 7" lures and 4/0 4X on the 10" lures

  • Equipped with #6 heavy duty Rasco split rings

  • When cast, will retrieve at a depth of 2 to 3 feet, and will troll at approximately 4 to 6 feet.

  • The 7" baits weigh 3 1/2 ounces...the 10" baits weigh 4 1/2 ounces.

These individually crafted lures are offered in twelve different patterns, in 7" and 10" straight and jointed models, at these low prices:
