The four steps of Muskie and Pike fishing are to quickly... 1. Bring the fish to the boat. 2. Measure the fish and estimate its weight. 3. Photograph the fish. 4. Release the fish. The Muskie Rule is the optimum tool for completing measuring and
estimating weight of your carch. It provides an easily-read scale in
inches, with corresponding estimated weights in pounds to simplify this
task. The Muskie Rule may be purchased in three different formats. Select
the one that fits your situation best. Format #1 This is a 3 ¼" x 60" flat vinyl measuring tape, with an adhesive
back, that can be applied to the inside of your boat. It will always be
there, ready for a speedy measurement before the fish is quickly
released.

Format #2 This is a 1" diameter x 60" long measuring stick, which can be carried with you from boat to boat. It allows a quick measurement in the water, and if dropped, will float.

Format # 3 If you don’t have room for the one-piece measuring stick, this 2-piece version may be just the ticket for you. The two 1"diameter x 30" sections are easily screwed together when needed and can then, just as easily, be disassembled for carrying or storage.
