The Record Reel Series is destined to become the new flagship reel for Abu Garcia bridging the gap between the Morrum and the C3 and C4 reels. Resurrecting the name given to their first reel, made in 1939, Abu Garcia has designed a totally new, totally dependable, and totally beautiful piece of fishing gear.

Four right-hand models and three left-hand models are available.  The Record 40 is similar in size to a 4600...the Record 50 and 51 are similar in size to a 5600...and the Record 60 and 61 are similar in size to a 6600.  The HC (High Capacity) reels have larger capacity spools and Power Handles.  To my knowledge, there is no (Left-Hand) Record 41 Reel.
